Ramon (“George Eastman”) and his father (Giuseppe Addobbati) live as penniless paupers near the mexican border. Like other settlers they are caught in rich Barrett’s (Daniele Vargas) dept trap: Those, who can’t pay back their credit to the big landowner loose their poor property. Ramon and his father don’t wanna join the rebels under leadership of Stevens (Mirko Ellis): They prefer to pay off their debt to their creditor. Unfortunately Ramon ist raided by four masked rogues, who rob the whole money. Ramon recognizes one of Barrett’s men, but Barrett doesn’t believe him: His mobsters kill Ramon’s father and flare their small farm. Shortly after these incidents Ramon chances to save the life of Rezza (“Anthony Ghidra”), a notorious killer. Grateful Rezza teaches him to use a gun. As a proved gunslinger Ramon returns to take revenge on Barrett and his gang.

The Casketnail says:

A more than passable work by Giuseppe Vari with some foibles in the detail: a straight, uncomplicated revenge-story, which reminds me on the Tonino-Valerii-classic “I Giorni dell’Ira”. Montefiori with his height of roundabout 2 meters had his first leading part, but it’s i.e. involuntary funny to see him as a mexican peasant boy riding a donkey. But he gains credibility after his transformation in a gunman. Great performance by Bojanovic: His aging killer has the best dialogue sequences too. Quite good Spaghetti out of the second row.
