"Businessman" Carson (Calisto Calisti) controls the nest White City, while his son Lucas (Giovanni Scarciofolo) and his mob care for enough money in the till by charging "protection money" from farmers. Third party in this unholy alliance is James Donovan (Mel Gaines) and his gang. From time to time James improves his meager salary with bank- and casino-robberies. A nameless bountyhunter (Jeff Cameron) re-establishs law and order in White City.

The Gunslinger says:

Demofilo Fidani's debuted with this flick in the genre. If you consider the years, the career of the maestro was quite short, but within he made an astonishing number of films, nearly all of them below the belt.
But in this case it's another thing, because on the one side Fidani tries to tell a story, on the other hand, the actors – among them genre debutants Fabio Testi and Ettore Manni – really do their best. Unfortunately Fidani lacks of courage or talent, to deepen the side strangs of the story, which really might have potential. First we see a heavy conflict between father and son in the Carson family: Lucas is rejected by his father, because this guess, that he's not his corporal son. Second there is the revenge-plot: barsinger Trudy once was the fiancee of of Brady's son and involved in his murder and the crippeling of Brady by the Carsons. Here the film supplies after all some b/w flashbacks, a diversity of styles, which is rarely found in a Fidani joint.
But the friends of the typical Fidani jokes - like me ;-) - get their money's worth too, for example the inexpressibly bad egg-game, which by the way features Aristide Massaccesi, who later on gains a certain fame as „Joe D'Amato“.
The score by Marcello Gigante is not bad: It offers a catchy trumpet theme, supported by some flute trills.
Altogether one of the better done films of Fidani.
