Trinity (Heath Kizzier) is a tramp, who likes to let things slide. But occasionally he changes horizontal position with the vertical one, i.e. as he liberates an old man, who is bullied by three Mexican bandidos. The victim turns out to be a touring hangman, whose next job is to gibbet a fat horse-thief. Trinity “borrows” clothes and coach of the poor man and betakes as hangman to the village, where the execution should take place. As he expected, the delinquent is his old mate Babyface (Keith Neubert), whom he knows since childhood. After liberating his friend out of jail, the two friends have to prove the innocence of Babyface, who was hosed by the brothers Ramirez, a bunch of drunken Mexicanos. Things work out fine, as they met some Peones, who are in search for some gunmen to protect their village against the Ramirez’. In no time of all Trinity and Babyface are made Sheriff of San Clementino. Here they have a blast until many eyes are blue and the slates are clean.

The Gunslinger says:

In his last joint Enzo Barboni tried to reanimate the spirit of his comedies with SpencerHill around Bambino and Trinità, more than 20 years ago. But Barboni and his producer Italo Zingarelli should have known, that without his protagonists this project was condemned to failure. US-actors Kizzier and Neubert don’t have the presence of the originals, despite all their efforts until the copying of certain mannerisms. So the technical skilfully made film gets by creditable without being really funny nor exciting. The score by Stefano Mainetti meanders between really sucking Synthesizer-comedy-music and a classic trumpet theme.
