blindWhen the mine owner Duvall is killed, the suspicion falls on his right hand, Sol Lester (Jim Reed). Because of false testimonies even of his girlfriend Cora (Pat Greenhill), Sol gets five years penintentiary. His good guidance brings him out after three years. He returns to his hometown Paradiso to dismiss the true guilty ones, the gunslingers Holloway and Coleman, in order to get back his honour. Holloway in the meantime manages the Duvall mine and chases after his sweet little daughter Lynn (Martha Dovan). While he and Coleman (Gustavo Re) want to kill Sol, who in the meantime even became Sheriff of Paradiso, Saloon owner Bliss (Alberto Gadea) tries to out-pass on all parties against each other in order to bring himself into the possession of the mine.

The says Gunslinger says:

blindAverage Western, which José Luis Madrid produced 1966. Like most films of this time, this one has also some references to the US B-Western. The Story contains some inconsistencies, like the amazingly mild punishment of five years, which Sol gets off for a murder for example. Jim Reed, always smooth-shaved even in prison, gives a really poor performance; the other actors don´t belong to the "standard-ensemble" of the spahettiwesterns and don´t seem very interested in this flic. Nevertheless: it doesn´t hurt to see this movie.
