Content:

Wes Evans (James Mitchum) kills the last two gangsters, who had once murdered his father. The long chase has come to an end, and Evans turns back into its homeland village, in order to breed cows in peace. But rural peace unfortunately is nil return: It raves a war between two rivaling ranchers, and in the meantime to all abundance his girlfriend Nancy ("Jill Powers") married the oldest son of one of the two. It still flows a great deal of blood down the dusty slopes, before Evans finally donates peace and can withdraw himself with his ex ex girlfriend - in the meantime naturally widdowed - to his own farm.


The Gunslinger says:

This first finger exercise of Sergio Corbucci in the Western genre follows strongly the US-American standards concerning equipment, story and camera guidance. The classical samples of the Italo Westerns here are still missing. Corbucci produced under his alias "Stanley Corbett" as well as Alfredo Antonini, who was co-director too.
Antonini, who worked mainly as producer in Europe and Hollywood was active in the genre during the mid-sixties . The average camerawork is done by Enzo Barboni as "E.B. Clucher".
Despite the met prominence behind the window blinds a flabby film.
