The Clayton Gang terrorizes the region around the mexican border with bank robberies: It’s obvious, that the desparados with the crappy haircuts need the money to afford the barber. After their last holdup they arrive in Juno City, where Father John (Lee Van Cleef with a baaaaad whig), a former gunslinger, cares for his lambs. Anger is unevitable, and John is killed by the Claytons, while reading in the Bible. Sam Clayton takes over official functions in Juno. But he reckoned without little Johnny (Leif Garrett), who flees for Mexico to find John’s twin Louis, who takes out his guns out of mothballs. They return to Juno to kick Clayton’s ass. But instead of using his artillery, Louis benefits from the occult power of his brother’s cassock, with which he scares the Claytons nearly to death.

The Gunslinger says:

What the hell this should be? If one doesn’t know it better, thanx i.e. to Sabata, one would sort Parolini in the same ligue as for example Demofilo Fidani or Gianni Crea. This flick, made in Israel, is a completely miscarried attempt of a comedy. Started with the horrible cheap equipment - same houses for example appear on different locations – up to the hounting acting efforts. Van Cleef, obviously bloody unhappy with his whig-situation, is successfull in being killed in the first half of the film. But propably the money wasn’t enough to satisfy his legendary lust for high proof drinks, so he’s brought back to life as his own twin. Same thing with Jack Palance, who completes his parts, as if he had more than one spliff. Harrowing!
