Content:

Sir Joseph Moore („Terence Hill“), a young noble Englishman, arrives in the „Wild West“. He wants to fulfill the last wish of his father, black sheep of the family, who finished his outlaw life in a brothel: Joe should meet his father’s old gang, to become a real man. "Bull" Smith (Gregory Walcott), Holy Joe (Harry Carey Jr.) and "Monkey" (Dominic Barto) are quite astonished, as the snobby Englishman turns out to be the son of their former and beloved boss. They take him under their wings. But as Joseph falls in love with Candida (Yanti Sommer), he has to pick up the know-how of a gunslinger immediately: Evil and hardboiled Morton Clayton (Riccardo Pizzuti) competes for the favour of the woman too.

The Gunslinger says:

Quiet comedy, made by Enzo Barboni in 1972. „Terence Hill“ has a lot of opportunities fooling around, but Barboni occupies also with the disappearing good old West. The arising railroad symbolizes the decline of traditional values: In order to flee civilization, Bull, Holy Joe and Monkey finally reach the Pacific. During a train passes in the background, they realize, that „The West“ isn’t unendingly any longer and their time is over.
